Don't believe everything you read

The world is on lockdown.

Most countries are denying entry for new travelers, governments are urging people to stay home and holidays are being cancelled worldwide.

This sucks.

But there seem to be some upsides as well; to the environment for example.

Don’t believe everything you read though. The presence of dolphins in the canals of Venice is fake news and the clear canals are definitely not 'pollution free'. The canals look clear only because the motorboats and other traffic aren’t stirring up the soot in the water.

So what is the good news?

Due to severe cutbacks in fishing, the marine life will thrive in the canals and lagoon, and there is absolutely less pollution now that there is barely any traffic.
