Review: Food huggers

It's plastic-free July and what better way to start off the month talking about the fact that me and my husband haven't used any plastic wrapping in the kitchen for over two years!

One of the brilliant things we use instead of plastic film (which is non-recyclable) are these food huggers from Bloomling.uk. You can tuck your sliced fruits and vegetable in tightly with these huggers and they even fit on glasses and tins. The perfect way to help your food and drinks last longer and we loved them so much that we have 3 pairs of them.

They're quite expensive at £14.95, but Bloomling is a carbon neutral company and they don't come in plastic packaging (like some other do).

We've been using these for over a year and a half and am still using them daily, so it was worth the investment.
